The Mattabassett Rifle and Pistol Club

The club was incorporated in the State of Connecticut on December 21st, 1966. The club's name was derived from the American Indian Tribe that inhabited the Berlin and Farmington areas.  The illustration on the club's emblem is a Mattabassett Indian as depicted in the records of the New Britain, Connecticut Library.
